Long Way Through Japan

From January 22nd to February 12th 2010 I will be travelling from Nagasaki at the far west of Japan, all the way to Sapporo at the far east on a tight budget. (Via shinkansen/bullet train – it is the cheapest way, seriously)

I’ve planned it so I will finish in Sapporo for the acclaimed Ice Festival. (Google it if you wish)

This trip was a little ‘on the spur of the moment’ but preparation is going well :)

I have decided to make a documentary out of this as well, hopefully one that will educate as well as entertain. I’ll be researching my destinations before hand.

(I’ll be taking the Panasonic GH1 for anyone with an inclination towards paraphernalia. Best image/video quality I thought. Was a bit more than I hoped to spend though ^^)

Have any of you got a GH1? Did I make the right decision?

I’ll be uploading those videos, as I’m going, to youtube which you can watch to the left here.

To wrap it up for introduction sake, you can also follow me through these:

Website for my path by gps images (I’ll still working on this but it’ll be under ‘Japan in Pictures’):

Also flickr which is where I will be uploading the pictures:

Thankyou/Sayonara!

I hope you’ll add the rss feed which is top right on this blog (it’s a little hidden) because I’m excited, and I’d rather not waste your time. It’s going to be educational aswell as entertaining!
